With the growing scale of business around the world the requirements of people who facilitate running of such businesses are increasing. They need various means of fast and better communication. Blackberry phones have always been high in the priority lists of such people. As everyone is aware most people associate Blackberry with business email, but the things are about to change.
BlackBerry Bold
The new BlackBerry Bold smartphone embodies elegant design - without sacrificing the features or functionality you expect from a premium smartphone.
It's a very daring step into the world of all-in-one super . The Bold's core features are still made of serious stuff, but with the addition of HSPDA (3.5G) and GPS.
Bold is a strong statement from RIM that it's listening to the market. The first thing that you will notice when you pop the bold out of its box is its considerable width but this does allow for a full Qwerty keypad and a wide screen. Its keys are spread out just the right amount and they're raised at one edge so you can easily distinguish between each one. One more impressive thing which will attract the attention in Bold is the screen.
Between the bright screen and easy-to-use keypad there's a trackball. Which is very similar to the one found on the BlackBerry Pearl. It can make searching through lists or going through the menu very straightforward. We've never been huge fans of the BlackBerry menu system, but the latest redesign is there to change your notions and takes the old icons in a much sexier direction. Gone are the icons on white -- behold an array of neon symbols, which still take some time to figure out but look far prettier than anything we've seen on a BlackBerry before.
Blackberry Bold Features
Moving toward the features unlike Blackberry, Blackberry Bold comes equipped with HSDPA and Wi-Fi which offers high speed internet connectivity almost everywhere you go.
GPS means you can accurately find out where you are. The GPS works well outdoors, but don't expect great things when you're indoors. Navigating around town, you can use BlackBerry Maps, which lets you do cool things such as sending your location to other people, but we prefer using Google Maps, which you can download from the Internet. Bold comes with 3.5mm headphone which is supported by basic music player, but supports several formats. Don't expect to take great pictures which Bold as it has 2-megapixel camera.
Setting up email is fairly straightforward, depending on what you need. You can use BlackBerry Internet Service to setup a variety of email accounts, including Microsoft Exchange. The Bold's Internet browser is equally easy to use, rendering pages in a desktop format, although it doesn't support Flash.
If you compare Bold with its predecessor berries, you can definitely notice vast improvement. And with a speedy processor of 624MHz it offers a really punchy experience. It caters to all your needs right from web browsing to access applications and you won't feel even for a second that the phone is lagging. Overall a very nice offering from the Blackberry range.
